A Little About Me...
I have always had a love for art and photography since I received my first camera as a birthday gift from my grandparents in 1995. I took general art classes in high school, as well as introductory photography classes at Moore College of Art. While in high school I had several watercolors and an oil painting displayed at the Philadelphia Museum of Art in the Young Artists program.
I graduated with a B.S. in Photography from Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA in 2006. Besides photography I studied drawing, figure study, color theory, 3-D art and acrylic and oil painting. My senior thesis photography project on Alzheimer’s was shown at the Vox Populi Gallery in Philadelphia, PA in 2006. I have continued my personal growth and education with various web design and painting classes at The Bucks County Community College. I have always believed that the best thing you can do for yourself as an artist and a human being is to constantly continue your growth and education and never become bored.
In 2010 I started painting again using oils, acrylics, & pastels on clayboard, scratchboard and canvas. My favorite painting subject is the Pennsylvania landscape.
In early 2014 I became a member of “The Artists of Bristol” and finally got a chance to show my paintings and photographs at various locations like Bucks County Community College (Lower Bucks campus), Centre for the Arts in Bristol, Silver Lake Nature Center and Historic Bristol Day to name a few.
I have worked as a youth and school sports photographer, a wedding photographer and a horse racing photographer from 2006 to 2013. In 2017 I began working as a traveling Portrait Photographer- University Division for Lifetouch/Prestige National.
